BEPS is working with Catherine Hibbert from Holmes and Hills who is a specialist in NSIP compulsory purchase orders and can provide legal help with any contracts sent to residents.

She is familiar with the East Pye Solar scheme. Her advice is not to sign any contract without taking proper advice. In some circumstances the costs of legal advice can be reclaimed from East Pye Solar.

If multiple people have the same standard contract we can ask her to advise as a group to be more cost effective and have a stronger negotiating position.
